Jason Pearce’s Indian Prairie Hunting Paradise

This property has been in the same family for five generations, and the 1600 acres of privately owned land has been used for cattle and melon farming since the early 1940’s. Jason and his father Joe are for the first time opening up hunting to the public. There is an abundance of wildlife on the ranch from Osceola turkey, whitetail deer, wild hog, quail, and duck. Jason is going to be offering hunts for wild hogs (free range and guaranteed) and dove/ducks in season the first year and going to expand hunting to whitetail deer and Osceola turkey in the future.

The game has been managed for years having nutritional access to food that the cattle feed on and melons from the fields. No one has hunted the land giving the opportunity for proper age structure. The genetics are great for the area with deer scoring in the high 110 B and C. There are several ponds on the property providing a great ecosystem for ducks. The property has several fields where quail congregate and feed. Jason’s goal is to provide a limited amount of hunts yearly in order to properly manage the land and  not over-harvest the game.

The land is comprised of a mix of rangeland, wiregrass, cabbage palm, , and wax myrtles. Also dispersed throughout the property are several natural slews and ponds. This environment provides optimum cover and habitat for whatever native game you want to pursue.

Clients will have the opportunity at low introductory prices for the first year. We can accommodate individual, small group, and/or corporate hunts.

Jason offers the most competitive prices in the business boasting the best hunting, service, and quality game in the industry. Jason’s able to keep the cost of the hunts so low because he owns the land. He doesn’t have lease costs, trespass fees, or have to pay the neighbor for each head of game taken. His goal is to provide clients with the best Native Florida hunting for the best prices. He is a small outfit without the huge overhead costs. He wants to keep it simple in order to provide quality not quantity.

Jason Pearce’s outfit is conveniently located in Glades County in the South Zone on the North West side of Lake Okeechobee on route 78 near Lake Port. Travel access to the lodge is easy from North, South, East or West. The hunting location is remote but lodging and great southern style restaurants are located with in 20minutes drive from the ranch.

All the hunts include: one-on-one guiding, transportation to and from hunting location, boat transportation, decoys, blinds, dogs, drinks, skinning and quartering of game. Lunch can be provided upon request.

Custom hunts of mixing and matching hunts are available upon request.

Jason Pearce is committed to service, satisfaction, and hunting quality.
